Visitors will be able to enjoy some of the most popular cross country ski trails in RMNP this winter, thanks to Riding Mountain National Park staff with the assistance of community members surrounding RMNP.

Broadleaf – Good
Compound – Good
Crawford Creek – Good
Deep Lake – Good (trackset classic & Skating from Warden Station to Deep Lake; then packed to Bob Hill Lake)
Edwards Creek – Good (wolf activity in area; look for tracks)
Flat Lake – Fair / Poor (snow covered)
Grey Owl – Good (wolf activity in area; look for tracks)
Hilton – Good
Lake Katherine – Good
Moose Lake – Fair / Poor (snow covered)
Oak Ridge – Good
Multi-Use Trails (Ski / Snowshoe / Fat Bike):
South Lake – Good / Excellent
Wasagaming Campground Short Loop (2.3 km) – Good
Wasagaming Campground Medium Loop (3.5 km) – Good
Wasagaming Campground Long Loop (6.7 km) – Good
Wasagaming Townsite Loop (1.7 km) -not recommended (snow covered)
Snowshoe Trails (Early Season Conditions). Snowshoe trails are maintained but not mechanically packed. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SNOWSHOEING ON GROOMED SKI TRAILS.

PLEASE PLAN CAREFULLY. Be aware that cell phone coverage is not reliable in the Park. Make sure that you tell someone where you are going and when you will return. Check weather forecast and dress appropriately, be prepared for possible weather changes even on short trips.
