Summer Positions
Friends is seeking highly motivated, friendly and intelligent students to assist in the:
- Delivery of Junior Naturalist Programs for children aged 5-12 years
- Delivery of Li’l Critter Camp programs for children ages 5 and up
- Delivering special family programming
- Assist in the operation of a small retail outlet specializing in nature-related products and literature
- Assist in the operation of a Learning Centre
If you are attending senior high school, university or college and possess the following qualities, we are looking for you!
Candidates should:
- Have an interest in delivering programs to children and adults in an outdoor setting
- Enjoy working in an outdoor environment
- Be able to work independently or within a team setting
- Willing to learn and work retail (training provided)
- Have an interest in history and the environment
- Be a high school, university or college student and plan to return to school in the fall
- Have accommodations in the Wasagaming / Onanole / Erickson / Sandy Lake area
- This position is open to all residents of Canada that are between 16 and 30 years of ages and planning on returning to school in the fall of 2025.
