“PARK”ticipACTION Mornings
“Park”ticipACTION mornings are all about “unplugging” and having fun in the great outdoors. Featuring games, sports and other activities designed for kids to get the day started off right! Programs take place Monday to Friday from June 23rd to August 29th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Run, Jump, Play and Have Fun with Friends.
Junior Naturalists Afternoons
Geared towards children between the ages of 5 and 12, the focus of the Junior Naturalist program is to provide children with the opportunity to learn about nature; wildlife; ecological integrity and the cultural/archaeological history of Riding Mountain National Park, the Riding Mountain Biosphere Reserve, and the province of Manitoba. Programs take place Monday to Friday from June 23rd to August 29th, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.
Young Explorers
For children ages 7 to 14, the Young Explorers program features a Tuesday evening Geocaching program (Geocaching 101) and a Thursday evening art program (Color of Nature). Programs take place from Tuesday June 24th to Thursday August 28th, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
Li’l Critter Camp
Friends Li’l Critter Camp programs feature arts, crafts and games for children ages 5 and up. Programs take place Monday to Friday from June 23d to August 29th, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.
All programs have a limited number of spots available. As a result, ADVANCED registration and payment is required!
